Sunday

Turner announces that a banana is a crescent.

I peeled Ts banana and set the peel on my chair. While peeling Lincoln's banana he picked up the peel and threw it away without being asked. What a thoughtful little guy!

Love these boys!

It's been too long!

We watched some of shark week and now Lincoln will ask to see sharks on tv.

Turner days stupid and fricken. The first he got from polar express. The second it's possible he learned from me. He knows these words are not ok and when we say them he reminds us of that. He will also remind you of the alternatives that are ok "stinker" and "stinker boy".

I called Lincoln a scientist at dinner because of the mess he had created and Turner thought that wasn't ok and let me know. He gave me the above alternates for this too.

Lincoln is about to have a vocab explosion. He identified the colors yellow, green, blue, brown, and red today. He says yellow and orange. He also says bear, blanket, toe, cheek, chin, hu..hu for no just hu for yes, phone, cu for color, pu for purple. Most of these words he just says the first sound but it is getting better.
Here's a shot by aunt Jess!

The big trip

We started in Omaha. We played with the cousins and picked up Grandma Juicy (T's name for Judy).

This trip was so much fun. We went home for two days and then we took off to see grandma and grandpa in Wisconsin!!

Fun at the park with Aunt Jessie

We walked, we talked, we peed in the wood chips. Well, Turner did anyway! Onlookers and swing setters were as shocked and amused as I was, fortunately. "That's what we get for teaching him to pee off the porch!" I exclaimed! It was a good time had by all and only one meltdown when we had to leave our new friends at the park. I'd say it was a success. Love my babies!
